Our office can arrange an invitation for the Russian visa. Our office takes care of sending your invitation to the relevant Russian consulate institution. Please forward the scanned copy of a passport along with ALL following information to our office by e-mail info@norden39.ru

- exact dates of a period of stay in Russia;
- place of work (name of the organization/institution, address, phone and fax number);
- position;
- country of residence;
- city, where there is a Russian Consulate institution and where you suppose to get your visa;
- your e-mail address to notify you that your invitation is received by Consulate Department.

To arrange an invitation we need:

- 7 working days (!) for a single-entry visa (new rule set by the MFA from 01.01.09);
- 14 working days (!) for a multiple-entry visa.

Dear guests, the invitations for visas are issued by the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Kaliningrad. The period for preparation of visa invitations and the date when it is ready is set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in accordance with the Federal law. That is why all guests applying for visa via our office are informed in advance about the rules, which are to be followed. We are not authorized to push the MFA to issue invitations faster.

NB!:
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the expiry date of the visa.
If a Consulate Department requires an original invitation it will take 2-3 days more for courier delivery.
If you apply for a new visa, the Consulate Department cancels the old visa, even it is still valid. Therefore please be careful with visa dates when planning your trip.

Our office can book a hotel room. The cost for a single room in the hotels we usually book is around 50-60 Euro. Please send a request to info@norden39.ru with indication of dates.

Attitudes are what have to change in order for accessibility to be achieved
There is a great deal of interest among the Russian and Baltic participants on the course in Universal Design that begun on Monday at the Nordic School of Public Health (NHV). The discussions during lectures are lively and questions posed many from participants representing various sectors and agencies.
– The problem is to change attitudes so that those working for public institutions accept that these should be accessible for all, rather than it being an issue of lack of funding, says Andrey Zonin, Director for the Institute for Cultural Programs in St. Petersburg.
