The final seminar of the second module of Library component-2011 organized within Municipal project will be held in Kaliningrad on 26 - 27.01.2012.

The main themes of the seminar will be “Information communication technologies” and “Work with collection”. The participants will discuss such questions as integration of new information technologies in the library work and their usage in different library processes – developing electronic catalogs, information data-bases, RFID technology, providing free access to information resources for remote users etc.

The results of 2 study visits to Iceland, Sweden and Finland which took place in November 2011 will be also presented and discussed.

Among the participants of the seminar there will 26 librarians from Kaliningrad and Kaliningrad region, Denmark (Tårnby), Iceland (Reykjavik, Akureyri), Norway (Bærum) and Finland (Helsinki).
