Conference «Creative industries as a driver for social and economic development: European experience and possibilities for the Kaliningrad region
On 13 September 2011 года the Conference «Creative industries as a driver for social and economic development: European experience and possibilities for the Kaliningrad region» will take place in Kaliningrad. It is organized by the Information Office of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Kaliningrad in cooperation with the Agency for Support of Cultural Initiatives «Tranzit».
The conference brings together over 75 representatives of local and regional authorities, education, research and cultural institutions, business and bodies promoting development of entrepreneurship as well as invited guest speakers such as Marianne Möller (Independent Culture Consultant, Helsinki), Heikki Masalin ( Managing director CIM Creative Industries Management Ltd, Helsinki), Elena Zelentsova (Director at the Creative Industries Agency, Moscow); Jūratė Černevičiūtė (Head of the Department of Creative Entrepreneurship and Communications, Vilnius Gedeminas Technical University, Vilnius) and Ekaterina Kondrashova (Institute of Cultural Programs, St.-Petersburg).
The Minister of Culture of the Kaliningrad region Svetlana Kondratieva and Arne Grove, the director of the NCM Information Office in Kaliningrad, will deliver opening addresses.
