Creative methods
On 12-13 July, 2011, the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Kaliningrad and NGO Agency for Support of Cultural Initiatives “Tranzit” hold an international workshop on creative industries mapping methodologies.
The workshop will bring together representatives of local and regional authorities, academic, educational and cultural institutions as well as guest speakers such as Lise Lyck (Copenhagen Business School), Elena Zelentsova («Creative Industries» Agency, Moscow) and representatives of the Lithuania’s Association of Creative Industries. The agenda includes presentations on main trends in creative industries development in European countries and Russian regions, overview of and discussions on various approaches to mapping creative industries and assessing their impact on social and economic development of territories, in particular, the Kaliningrad region.
The event is held in the framework of the Kaliningrad regions’ creative industries development project, implemented jointly by the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Kaliningrad and NGO Agency for Support of Cultural Initiatives «Tranzit». In 2011-2012, based on the results of the mapping of the Kaliningrad creative industries study visits to Nordic countries and workshops in Kaliningrad for relevant target groups will be organized.
