Workshop «From an Idea to a Product: Packaging Impressions from Kaliningrad»
On 7-8 December, 2011, the workshop «From an Idea to a Product: Packaging Impressions from Kaliningrad» addressed to creative entrepreneurs and artists will be held in Kaliningrad. The workshop aims to explore possibilities for packaging impressions from Kaliningrad into specific products and services, raise participants’ awareness of experience economy, product development processes, related legislative frameworks (intellectual property rights), as well as develop relevant professional networks in the North-West Russia.
The workshop will bring together creative entrepreneurs, representatives of local authorities, educational institutions and cultural operators of the Kaliningrad region, several participants from Saint-Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Petrozavodsk, as well as invited guest speakers Heikki Masalin (Managing director at «Creative Industries Management», Helsinki), Elena Zelentsova and Elena Melville (Creative Industries Agency, Moscow).
The event is held in the framework of the Kaliningrad Creative Industries Development Project implemented by the Information Office of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Kaliningrad ( www.norden39.ru ) in cooperation with the NGO Agency for Support of Cultural Initiatives «Tranzit» (www.tranzit-kaliningrad.ru).
Within the framework of the workshop a presentation of the distance learning program «Creative Entrepreneurship School» of the Creative Industries Agency (Moscow) http://www.creativeindustries.ru/rus/299 will be held. It will take place on 8 December at 17.30 in the Conference Hall of the Fish Village Business Centre (Kaliningrad, ul. Oktyabrskaya, 8)
