The seminar „Morden library in modern sociaty“ will be held on 6-7 October, 2011 in Kaliningrad within the Library component of Municipal project.

Among the participants of the seminar there will be librarians from Kaliningrad region (Kaliningrad, Gusev, Mamonovo, Svetly), Denmark (Tårnby), Iceland (Reykjavik, Akureyri), Norway (Bærum) and Finland (Helsinki, Mikkeli).

The main themes of the seminar are “Information and communication technologies” and “Collection” - their interaction and development.

Within two study tours which are planed in November, 2011 the project participants will visit the libraries in Denmark, Sweden and Iceland.

Final seminar based on the results of the study visits will take place in Kaliningrad in December, 2011.
