Forum of Kaliningrad Partner Regions: Focus on development of cultural and creative industries
4th Forum of Kaliningrad Partner Regions will take place on September 13-14, 2012. Two events focused on the development of cultural and creative industries in the region are organised within the Forum by the Government of the Kaliningrad Region under the programme Modernization Partnership for the South Eastern Baltic Area (SEBA) (Council of the Baltic Sea States) and the project fffDevelopment of Creative Industries in the Kaliningrad Regionfff (Agency for Support of Cultural Initiatives fffTranzitfff, Information Office of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Kaliningrad).
The Forum involves leading experts from Estonia, Finland, Poland, and the Kaliningrad region. They will share the experience of their countries and regions as well as the experience of the European Union and Baltic Sea Region in integrating large-scale cultural events and creative industries into regional development within the roundtable on September 13. The workshop of September 14 aims to study and analyze the application of European experience in the Kaliningrad region in the light of the new regional development strategy as well as Culture 2013-2018 Programme to be elaborated.
