Kaliningrad Creative Industries Development Project
MAIN OBJECTIVE: To promote creative industries as an important sector of regional economy and facilitate their development in the Kaliningrad region based on the expertise and best practices of the Nordic countries
MAIN TASKS:
To raise awareness of target groups about NDCP, the role of creative industries in this partnership
To map creative industries of the Kaliningrad region (size, main actors, role, actors, competitive advantages, potential, problems and needs ) and promote its potential to regional actors facilitating the region’s economic development and prospective partners from the Nordic countries
To make the target groups aware of the potential, competence and best practices of the Nordic countries in the field of creative industries
To put target groups into direct contact with potential partners from the Nordic countries
To involve target groups into CI industries networks in the Nordic region
The cooperation in the field of CI is going to be extensive and multi-faceted since the launch of the Nordic Dimension Partnership on Culture. In this connection we can assume that a variety of CI related project ideas will be announced by various actors. Although the proposed project is mainly focused on the CI of the Kaliningrad region, integration with other projects is seen as a positive factor for enhancing expected results of the action.
The possible ways of building links with other similar initiatives include:
Interregional level (with CI related projects in other regions of NW Russia, LT, LV, EST, Nordic countries)
Local level (with other NCM projects within the Kaliningrad region)
The Kaliningrad project can be also assumed as a pilot project for the extended cooperation programme with similar activities focused on CI development and networking within the NW Russia, Baltic and Nordic countries as well as Belarus.
MAIN OBJECTIVE: To promote creative industries as an important sector of regional economy and facilitate their development in the Kaliningrad region based on the expertise and best practices of the Nordic countries
